Cream-colored Courser

      Cursorius cursor

      Information

In case of danger, the Cream-colored Courser is more likely to run away quickly than fly up. This long-legged wader is very well adapted to life in flat, sandy semi-deserts and deserts. Cream-colored Coursers remain active even during midday heat. The sandy-coloured plumage makes it almost invisible, except for the colourful crown which is slate grey.
