The male courts its partner with impressive areal displays. Crows pursue the Eurasian Buzzard warily and persistently try to drive it out of their territory. In winter, an influx of visitors from the north-east joins our breeding population. During a harsh onset of winter there is often a spectacular exodus towards the south-west.
