This research project employs chemical and molecular approaches to investigate the migratory behavior of species that seasonally traverse Africa. Specifically, it aims to unveil crucial insights into the stopover sites, staging areas, wintering grounds, and habitat preferences of Palearctic-African migrants. By concentrating on these and related aspects, the research contributes to our comprehension of avian migratory patterns, thereby enhancing our understanding of migration behavior and addressing current ecological and conservation requirements.
