Library

The library of the Swiss Ornithological Institute in Sempach is one of the most extensive collections of ornithological literature in Europe and Switzerland's ornithological memory.

It has a stock of about 20 000 items (books, brochures, journals and electronic media such as CDs and DVDs) on birds. In addition, the library also collects documents on nature conservation and other branches of natural science (ecology, zoology, botany, forestry).
