Wetlands

Our unit is generally active for the protection and promotion of birds associated with freshwater and wetlands. We accompany revitalisation projects in floodplains, rivers, and lakeshores to improve the availability and quality of habitats.

Together with local partners, our unit develops visitor management concepts to reduce disturbances on important breeding or resting areas. Finally, our unit also provides scientific support and technical advice on the management of wetlands.
