The library of the Swiss Ornithological Institute in Sempach

The unit Library supports the staff of the Ornithological Institute and members of the public with questionsrelating to research, literature management and open access. It sees itself as Switzerland’s ornithological memory and collects and indexes ornithological and related literature in printed and electronic form as completely as possible.

The library is located on the first floor of the Swiss Ornithological Institute (Seerose 1). It is open to members of the public. Library users are asked to register at the information desk on the ground floor.
