New space for biodiversity is to be created on a plot of land in the agricultural zone in the Gürbetal valley. The centrepiece is a system of several water bodies with differing characteristics. Supplemented with additional structures and a hedge, this creates valuable habitat for migratory and breeding birds, as well as dragonflies, amphibians, and butterflies.
