A vast tall tree orchard in Hauenstein

An existing tall tree orchard, located on a terrain terrace in the Solothurn Jura, is being supplemented with 400 new fruit trees. Combined with extensive grazing by mother cows, this will create new habitat for birds and insects. As part of the handover to the next generation, these measures put the farming concept on a new footing and establish fruit farming as a production branch in its own right.
