The Swiss approach of having everything neat and organised leaves little room for transition zones, or ‘ecotones’, areas that are particularly rich in biodiversity. This project, located a stone’s throw from Lake Neuchâtel, therefore goes against common practices. It involves revitalising agricultural land along the forest edge by recreating ecotones that are teeming with life.
